C3RiskMed is a coordinated project that will be carried out by two teams belonging to the UPC and the UB. In the case of the team associated to the UPC subproject, two working groups of the Departament d'Enginyeria Civil i Ambiental (DECA), belonging to the Laboratori d’Enginyeria Maritima (LIM) and the Laboratory of Social Studies of Civil Engineering (LESEC) are involved. These two teams provide a complementary multidisciplinary knowledge on analysis of coastal hazards and impact of climate change; and on social, economic and governance issues in the coastal zone. The team of the UB subproject is the Grupo de Análisis de situaciones Meteorológicas Adversas (GAMA) of the Departament de Física Aplicada, a multidisciplinary group with experience in natural hazards, climate change modeling and adaptation, analysis of their socioeconomic impact and improvement of the awareness. Both teams incorporate a group of researchers from different institutions, which is composed of the following people.
